  • We are open Tuesdays - Saturdays (closed Sunday & Monday) from 11am - 7pm. Our address is 1083 West Beech Street, Long Beach, NY 11561.

  • We accept cash or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). No checks. Venmo/Zelle is accepted for deposits & tips only.

  • The first step is deciding what you want to get tattooed. Once you have decided, check out our “Artists” page and see which artist’s style aligns best with you. If you are still not sure, contact us via info@ironagetattoony.com or (516) 442-2075 and we will help point you in the right direction.

  • Yes, we accept walk-ins daily. Please keep in mind that walk-ins operate on a first come first served basis. If our artists are with another client at the time you arrive, you may leave your name/number and they will reach out once available. To save you time, feel free to give us a call prior to arriving and our artists will let you know their availability for that day.

  • The shop minimum is $100. Your tattoo cost will vary based on your chosen artist, size, details, placement on the body, color or black and grey, etc. In order to receive a quote, send an email to info@ironagetattoony.com with a description of the tattoo, an image of placement, size, and reference images.

  • Each artist has different wait times for booking an appointment. Please contact your desired artist directly to learn more about their availability.

    1. You need to be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo done with a valid state or government issued ID. If you do not have a valid ID present with you we will be unable to do the tattoo. Pictures of ID’s and student ID’s are not acceptable to use.

    2. Eat & stay hydrated before coming in to get your tattoo. Feel free to bring a snack with you to your appointment.

    3. Limit alcohol and blood thinner (Asprin) use 24 hours prior to your appointment.

    4. Please wear clothing that is appropriate for the placement of your tattoo.

    1. You must wait at least 2 weeks from your last appointment to get tattooed in the same spot.

    2. If you are sunburned you need to wait until the skin is fully healed.

    3. If you are visibly intoxicated or on any type of drug, we have the right to refuse service. If you had booked an appointment you would forfeit your deposit and need to reschedule.

    4. If you do not have a valid government or state issued ID present with you at the time of your appointment we will be unable to perform the tattoo. Student ID’s, pictures of ID’s, or any non government or state issued ID’s are not acceptable forms. If you had booked an appointment you would forfeit your deposit and need to reschedule.

  • We will provide you with after care instructions on the day of your appointment. For your convience, we have included instructions below:

    Cleaning & Drying

    - Keep tattoo wrapped for at least an hour or until you have the ability to clean the tattoo using the instructions below

    - Always clean your hands prior to cleaning or touching your tattoo

    - Wash with unscented antibacterial soap and warm water

    - Pat dry with clean paper towel and allow to air dry for a couple of minutes.

    - Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor, Neosporin, or preferred aftercare balm.

    - For the next 3 days, follow the above instructions 3x a day

    - On the 4th day, stop using aftercare calm and switch to a thin layer of unscented lotion of your choice

    - Continue to apply lotion until your tattoo is fully healed

    Tips

    - Never allow fresh tattoos to come into contact with pet hair, saliva, bathroom towels, tight clothes or anything that could harbor bacteria.

    - Never swim or go in hot tubs/saunas with a fresh or healing tattoo.

    - Tattoos usually take 10 - 21 days to heal fully. They will be red, swollen and sore for the first couple of days, then they should tighten and dry out. At this point, a thin, flaky scab with form over the tattoo.

    - Although it may be itchy, never pick scabs/flakes off your tattoo.

    Please fully read and understand aftercare instructions and knowledge before leaving your appointment. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your tattoo artist.

  • We have to prioritize our shop’s space for our artists and their clients. We kindly ask that you only bring 1 person along with you and leave your kids at home.

  • No. We do not have a licensed piercer on site at this time.
